Pre approval!!

This afternoon we received PA (pre-approval) from China for our son! This is a preliminary approval. The official approval will come after our dossier is in China. He is 1 year old and his birthday is in November. Most likely we will travel before his 2nd birthday.

I mean. Don't you just want to squeeze his cheeks!!!! We are in love. Thank you Lord for your blessings.

Eeeehhhhh!! Squeals of excitement! I love him already! I can't wait for he and my Zeke to be playmates!! Congratulations!!! So excited for you all!

Oh my he is adorable. He is blessed to be getting you guys and you are blessed getting this precious baby. Praying for all to go according to God's plan.

12/19/13 - Picked up Article 23 from ICBF

12/19/13 - Attempted Colombian passport processing, failed due to an error on birth certificate

12/19/13 - Received Sentencia and birth certificate by airplane courier delivery

12/18/13 - Sentencia completed!

12/16/13 - Medical examination and partial Sentencia!

12/13/13 - TB test

12/12/13 - Medellin to Bogota to await Sentencia

11/27/13 - We think the petition to adopt was signed by the judge somewhere around this day

11/16 /13 - Flight to Medellin to wait for the courts to process the case

11/15/13 - Cleared to leave Valledupar for Medellin

11/14/13 - Bonding interview

11/13/13 - Encuentro appointment

11/13/13 - Little One released from the hospital

11/7/13 - Brant and I met Little One today for the first time in the hospital

11/5/13 - Encuentro scheduled for today but cancelled due to Little One's health

11/3/13 - Flew BOG to VUP

11/2/13 - Flew from HSV to BOG

10/29/13 - Article 5

10/21/13 - Received visas in the mail

10/17/13 - Visa approved. Received electronic copy.

10/16/13 - Given possible Encuentro date of 11/1/2013. Notified later that day to change date to 11/5/2013.

10/9/2013 - Provisional I-800 approval received

10/2/2013 - Brant's background check received

9/26/2013 - I-800 received by USCIS

8/23/2013 - Updated background checks and medicals requested by region

8/19/2013 - Received official referral letter for Little One. Letter was dated 8/14/2013

7/31/2013 - Received hard copy of dossier approval which was dated June 28, 2013

7/9/2013 - Received verbal provisional approval of our dossier from Colombia

6/4/2013 - Dossier submitted to Colombia

5/8/2013 - Signed Letter of Intent for Little One

4/22/2013 - Received USCIS approval (I-797C)

4/17/2013 - Biometric FBI fingerprints

4/9/2013 - Received Little One's file from agency

4/8/2013 - Dossier sent for review/translation in Colombia

4/3/2013 - Dossier back from Secretary of State

8/14/12 - Meeting in Birmingham with Lifeline Children's Services our adoption agency.
